A great start of the season with some awesome conditions this week for towing near the Stirling ranges.

The repair Centre has been fully renovated with new Carpet and we have now over 200 rolls of fabrics and more then 11000 meters of different paragliding lines.
WA Paragliding Academy, based here in Albany, provides great sporting entertainment at one of the world’s premier paragliding locations. Paraglider pilots come from all over the globe to fly over our magnificent coastline.
While in the safe end of your Instructor, Jiri, you will learn how Paragliding work and understand the safety of the sport.
You will get a great birds’ eye view of Albany and its surroundings, flying over the beautiful white sandy beaches, maybe even catching a glimpse of the dolphins in the ocean. Fly among the birds, and look down over the nature reserves to see the kangaroos and all the other wildlife that this fantastic area has to offer – as you’ve never seen it before!

Jiri flew from sandpach the other day. His plan was to make it to Salmon Holes where my dad was fishing. That way he would get a lift back with him.
Conditions were light and challenging but he made it all the way to the Bold Head. The end of that beautiful coast line. First time ever, now we know it is possible !!
He flew back from Bold Head to Salmon Holes, but my dad was gone, the flight took just over 2 hours to complet. I went to pick him up. Awesome flight, well done Jiri.
